Karen, with a background in property management as well as office management, was hired part-time in April 2018 to run the SwimAmerica office and manage the SwimAmerica programs/accounts. In 2021 she brought on full-time as the SwimAmerica Account Manager but also is ASCA’s Certification Director. While Karen does not have a background as a swimmer, she spent over 12 years teaching lessons with Parent and Tot as her specialty.

Abby has worked with ASCA and SwimAmerica for over a year. A recent Indiana University grad with a degree in Sports Media, with specializations in the web and media psychology, she has experience building websites interviewing, managing social media accounts, and more! She has been coaching for over seven and is currently with Donner Swim Club in Columbus, IN working with all ages. Abby loves sharing her passion for swimming and helping athletes and programs (especially with SwimAmerica) reach their goals!

In 1994, Bill introduced competitive swimming to the Berkshire region of Western Massachusetts and, using the SwimAmerica lesson program as a feeder, built a team from fifteen non-swimmers to sixty successful athletes in two and a half years. He was asked to run the pool at the newly built Kilpatrick Athletic Center on the campus of Bard College at Simon’s Rock in 1998. He has been there ever since and has been the Athletic Director for the past five years. He's been the National Program Director since 2022!
